Meet The Staff
Gloria Royer, Office Administrator
Gloria joined Periodontal Associates of Lafayette in 1984, having five prior years of general dental assisting experience. She attended Quest marketing and management seminars in 1983. Gloria attended Purdue University while working full time for Dr. David L. Alexander. She received her Associates degree, with honors, from Purdue University in Organizational Leadership and Supervision in 1995. And in 1996, she received Certification in Human Resources, from Purdue University.
Judy Murfitt, Education Coordinator
Judy joined the Periodontal Associates of Lafayette in 1998. She came to us with sixteen years of experience in general dentistry. She attended Quest marketing and management programs in 1984 and 1985. Judy earned a certificate in expanded restorative procedures for Dental Auxiliaries from the Indiana University Medical Center in 1984.
In October, 2004, Judy took on the responsibilities of Education Coordinator for the office. This job involved providing the latest information in the field of Periodontics with our referring and surrounding practices. This position led to yet another level of interaction. In June, 2006, she became the coordinator for our newly formed study club called The Greater Lafayette Study Club.
Our Office Staff
RaChelle Kenworthy, Scheduling Coordinator
RaChelle started working at Periodontal Associates of Lafayette, as the Patient Coordinator in June of 2003. In May of 2007 she became our Scheduling Coordinator. RaChelle came from Kokomo, Indiana, where she worked as a manager of a Day Spa and in guest services for seven years. She graduated from high school in 1989 and attended a vocational school where she worked as a receptionist for a general dentist as part of the program.
Cari DuVall, Patient Coordinator
Cari has been with Periodontal Associates of Lafayette since June of 2007. She is a graduate of Harrison High School and has completed two years at Purdue University studying Health and Kinesiology. She came to us from Cornelius, North Carolina where she worked as a Chiropractic Assistant.
Our Hygienists
Alicia Nellans, Licensed Dental Hygienist
Alicia joined Periodontal Associates in July 2004. She received her Associate of Science in Dental Assisting in 2001, and then furthered her education to receive licensure in Dental Hygiene in 2003 from the University of Southern Indiana.
Jennifer Harrison, Licensed Dental Hygienist
Jennifer graduated from Indiana University Dental Hygiene School in 1988 with an Associates degree in Science. She has worked in general dentistry for fourteen years and has been with Periodontal Associates of Lafayette since March of 2003.
Karen Dalton, Registered Dental Hygienist
Karen Dalton has been working in dentistry since 1979. She became a Certified Dental Assistant in 1979 after attending Ivy Tech State College. Karen became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1985 after attending the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She joined Periodontal Associates of Lafayette in July of 1998.
Christina Kutsch, Registered Dental Hygienist
Christina began with the practice in October 2005. Christina earned her degree at Indiana University Northwest. She has had previous work experience in sales, consulting and human resources. Christina resides in northern Newton County and is an active member in her community.
Our Dental Assistants
Brigette Douglas, Certified Dental Assistant
Brigette joined Periodontal Associates of Lafayette in April of 2006. She received her Technical Certificate, with honors, in August of 2006 for Dental Assisting. She is also certified in Dental Radiography. Brigette was on the Dean’s List and was granted the Dean’s Award in the Dental Assisting Program at Ivy Tech State College. She also utilizes her cosmetology license in her spare time.
Jennifer Edmondson, Certified Dental Assistant / Insurance Specialist
Jennifer has been with the office since 2003, having three prior years of college education. She attended Ivy Tech State Community College and received her degree in Dental Assisting while working part time at Home Hospital. She graduated with honors, being on the Dean's List all three years. Jennifer is certified in dental radiology and a member of ADAA. In October of 2006, Jennifer added to her expertise by accepting the Insurance Specialist position.
Nichole McDill, Certified Dental Assistant
Nichole is a 2004 graduate of Ivy Tech State College. She was a dental assistant in a general practice for one year prior to joining our staff in August of 2005. She is certified in dental radiology.
Brooke Withers, Certified Dental Assistant
Brooke Graduated in 2005 with a technical certificate from Ivy Tech Community college in Dental Assisting. She has been with Periodontal Associates of Lafayette since July of 2005. Brooke is certified in Dental Radiography and is the Implant Coordinator in our practice.
